About the estate
The Domaine de Moulerin estate is located in Bassens within the Côtes de Bordeaux appellation between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. The winery manages twelve hectares of vineyards situated on clay, limestone, and sandy-clay soils with optimal sun exposure. The history of the property dates back to the Middle Ages as a feudal farm, with the first vines planted in the fifteenth century. The red wines are composed of eighty percent Merlot alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, while Sauvignon is used for the white wine. Operations cover all stages from soil management and harvesting to vinification.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
