The family-owned Sance, S.C. winery located in Baños de Ebro in Rioja Alavesa dates back to the nineties, when the family started producing its own wine under the Rioja DOCa appellation. Cultivation of the estate vineyards on clay-limestone soils follows integrated production guidelines with manual harvesting and moderate yields. The winery focuses on the Tempranillo and Viura grape varieties as well as careful processing from the vineyard to the bottle. This approach yields distinctive wines with a clear identity of origin.
