About the estate
The Sainte Marie des Crozes estate cultivates ten hectares of vineyards in Douzens within the northernmost terroir of the Corbières. The vines grow on clay-limestone soils, sand, and pebbles in traditional sites as well as on limestone slopes and higher altitudes reaching up to 400 meters. The property has been shaped by successive generations, transitioning to organic farming in 2011 and biodynamics in 2020. The cultivated grape varieties include traditional sorts such as Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, Roussanne, and Syrah. These grapes are used to produce wines under the AOC Corbières, AOC Languedoc, and IGP Pays d'Oc appellations.
