About the estate
The RSteiner Weine estate originated from courses at ZHAW in Wädenswil and in Malans, followed by the replanting of its own vineyard in Maschwanden in 2018. To manage with as little crop protection as necessary, fungus-resistant grape varieties such as Muscaris and Divico were deliberately planted. The portfolio also includes wines such as Cuvée Blanc and Cuvée Rouge, for which grapes from other regions are partially purchased. The wines are available in regional restaurants and retail outlets, among other places.

Den Cuvée Blanc haben wir erstmals mit dem Jahrgang 2025 kreiert. Eine kleine Ernte hat uns inspiriert, einen neuen Wein zu kreieren. Bei diesem Jahrgang wurde der Muscaris mit Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) aus der Bündner Herrschaft verheiratet.

Der Cuvée Rouge wird es mit den Jahrgängen 2024 und 2025 geben. Der Grund dafür ist ähnlich wie beim Cuvée Blanc: Kleine Ernte. Bei der roten Assemblage kommt aber dazu, dass wir den Wein weiterhin im 225 lt. Eichenfass ausbauen möchten. Um diese zu ermöglichen, haben wir Merlot aus dem Tessin zugekauft.
