About the estate
The Römerstein winery is a family business that cultivates its vineyards in Illmitz near Lake Neusiedl. In viticulture, a very gentle approach is pursued, ranging from pruning and yield reduction to canopy management and fertilization. A central factor for production is also the careful coordination of the harvest time with the respective grape variety. The further vinification, storage, bottling, and marketing take place after transporting the young wine to Kirchberg in Tyrol in the Brixental valley. This process results in multifaceted wines offering a special sensory experience.
