About the estate
The Rodinné vinařství Toman estate looks back on a family winemaking tradition founded in 1945 by Josef Macek and later continued in Ratíškovice. Today, the winery cultivates 3.7 hectares of vineyards within the Morava wine region. The vineyards are situated on the southern slope of Nákla, featuring warm, sandy loam soils over calcareous deposits. For vinification, the estate relies on a combination of traditional methods, such as barrel ageing, and modern techniques. It produces small batches of distinctive wines from varieties including Merlot, Pálava, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Riesling.
