Roch

About the estate

The Roch estate is located in Seebarn am Wagram in Lower Austria and has been run by the winemaker family for several generations. In March 2014, winegrower and cellar master Alois Roch took over the winery from his parents, managing it together with his wife Eva. The vineyards cover seven hectares on the loess slopes of the Wagram and are cultivated with grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Frühroter Veltliner, Riesling, and Zweigelt. A primary focus of the winery is placed on Grüner Veltliner, which is vinified in various styles ranging from light summer wines to powerful reserves and ice wine.
