About the estate
The Rielinger estate in Barbian looks back on a history dating back to the Middle Ages and was acquired by the Messner family in 1956. Today, the winery is managed by the third generation and has been farmed organically and biodynamically since 2014. Viticulture remains at the center of agricultural activities alongside livestock farming and arable crop production across a vineyard area of 3.5 hectares. The wines under the Alto Adige DOC designation reflect the values and deep roots of the estate. The offering is complemented by holiday apartments and an on-site traditional tavern.
