About the estate

The Reithofer winery is situated in the centre of Rossatz in the Wachau region and was first documented in 1436. This historic wine estate looks back on a long tradition, with the fundamental structure of the building largely preserved despite various renovations. The vineyards are cultivated with great sensitivity, taking into account the diverse soil and climatic conditions of the individual sites. In the cellar, strong emphasis is placed on gentle processing and allowing the wines sufficient time and rest to develop properly. The portfolio includes wines bearing the Wachau DAC designation.

The eno directory lists 19 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Gewürztraminer. Export markets include Germany.
