About the estate
The Radetzky-Weingut is located in Großwetzdorf in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria, where the Wichtl family has demonstrably been active in viticulture since 1783. Current director Ing. Leopold Wichtl took over the parental estate in 1986 after completing his education at the Federal College for Viticulture and Pomology in Klosterneuburg and fundamentally modernized the equipment. The wines are produced exclusively from estate-owned vineyards and bottled in the winery's own bottling facility. The portfolio includes wines with the Weinviertel DAC designation as well as red wines aged in wooden barrels.

Dunkles Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen, anfangs sehr intensiv nach schwarzen Johannisbeeren erinnernd, lüftet man ihn länger so zeigt er seine leichten Nuancen von Eichenholz im Hintergrund. Ein eher mittelschwer-dezenter Rotwein.
