About the estate

The Quintana Quintana, SC estate in Labastida looks back on a winemaking history spanning over twelve generations, originating in 1613 with the birth of Andrés Quintana. For centuries, the family worked the land as vine-growers and tenants, eventually acquiring their own winery in the historic El Otero district in 1949. Following a period dedicated exclusively to viticulture and cooperation with the local cooperative, the twelfth generation returned to winemaking. Management of the vineyards in the Rioja DOCa focuses on precision viticulture without herbicides, respecting the soil and balancing vine vigor. The production includes distinct cuvées such as a multi-varietal red wine and an oak-aged rosé made from Garnacha tinta and Tempranillo.
