About the estate
The Quinta Couselo winery is a historical estate in O Rosal and a pioneer of the Rías Baixas denomination. The history of the estate is closely linked to the Cistercian monastery of Santa María de Oia, whose monks originally discovered the winegrowing potential of the valley. In the year 1163, the monks acquired the site known as Granja da Cheira, which forms the foundation of today's estate. Characterized by tradition and family ownership, the winery stands for the quality and distinct identity of wines from this region.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Alvarinho.
