About the estate

The Pundel vins purs estate is run as a family business across thirteen generations in Wormeldange and cultivates over 8 hectares of sustainably managed vineyards. The vines are rooted in the well-known sites of Nossbam, Koeppchen, Peteschwengert, Wäibuer, and Elterberg, producing mineral Rieslings and Crémant. Vinification relies entirely on spontaneous fermentation without industrial yeasts and avoids barrique barrels, employing only two larger casks for the maturation of Pinot Blanc and Riesling Peteschwengert. The latter originates from a historic, ungrafted parcel planted in 1900 on seven stone terraces. In 2014, the winemaker inaugurated a modern building on the heights of Wormeldange featuring tasting facilities and panoramic views of the Moselle river valley.
