About the estate

The history of the Domaine Viticole Krier-Bisenius dates back to 1914 when Jean Krier, together with two of his sons, founded the Maison Krier in Bech-Kleinmacher. In 1922, the company relocated to Remich, initially focusing on exporting wines in casks to several European countries. During the 1960s, the company decided to establish its own private wine estate to ensure quality and continuity of supply. Later generations partnered with the Gales family in 2003 to develop the sales of Luxembourg crémants alongside their estate wines. In 2021, the estate transferred its headquarters to a site along the Moselle featuring extensive rock-hewn cellars for production and conservation.

The eno directory lists 34 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Riesling. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Belgium and Netherlands.
