About the estate
The Planitzer estate is located in the hamlet of Glen in the municipality of Montan in southern South Tyrol and looks back on a history of over 300 years documented in historical records. Alongside the buildings featuring the Chapel of Saints Cosmas and Damian, the traditional property comprises approximately three and a half hectares of viticulture as well as forest and meadows. The winery is managed by the Ainhauser Weissensteiner family, who continue to shape the historic estate today. The portfolio includes wines such as Vernatsch, Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, and Sauvignon, produced under the Alto Adige DOC designation.
