The Pitsch am Bach winery in Bolzano looks back on a long history and was first documented in 1350. The unusual name originates from a historical owner from Florence, while the Schweigkofler family runs the estate today in the eighth generation as a heritage farm. Cultivation benefits from three hundred days of sunshine per year in South Tyrol. The estate practices close-to-nature management combined with traditional vinification. The portfolio includes wines from the Alto Adige DOC and Toscana IGT designations.
