About the estate
The Pietro Torti estate in Montecalvo Versiggia has been managed by the family for four generations. The ten hectares of vineyards are organically certified and consist of both newer high-density plantings and vines around forty years of age. Cultivation takes place on clayey-silty soils with cover cropping between the rows and short Guyot pruning. The portfolio features wines such as Bonarda dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC, Oltrepò Pavese DOC, and Riesling dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC. The local climate and vineyard exposures support the production of aromatic white wines as well as structured red wines suitable for aging.
