About the estate
The Azienda agricola Il Poggiolo estate is located in Montù Beccaria within the Oltrepò Pavese region and has been run as a family business by the Delmonte family for three generations. The winery spans approximately 25 hectares of vineyards with south and southeast exposures at elevations of up to 300 meters. The soils are predominantly clayey and slightly calcareous, supported by a favorable microclimate for viticulture. The grape variety portfolio includes traditional regional varieties alongside international varieties such as Chardonnay and Merlot. Management follows the principles of sustainable agriculture with the elimination of herbicides, the use of organic fertilizers, and manual harvesting.
