About the estate
The traditional family-run Pfeiffer estate is located in the municipality of Heldenberg on the slopes of the Schmidatal in the Weinviertel and is managed in the fourth generation. Cultivating just over six hectares of vineyards, the winery specializes in white wines, with Grüner Veltliner and Gelber Muskateller as its main varieties. Farming is conducted in harmony with nature by avoiding glyphosate and synthetic fertilizers. Instead, organic molasses from the sugar industry is used to strengthen the vines.
