About the estate

The Pass estate is located in Etzmannsdorf in the western Weinviertel region of Lower Austria and is run by Gerald Pass in the fourth generation. The winery is situated at the foothills of the Manhartsberg, where the climatic and geological characteristics of the Waldviertel and Weinviertel regions meet. The estate's vineyards include Steinperz, Sätzen, Hohenrain, Hohenstein and Gaisberg. The soils, shaped by weathered granite, gneiss and loess, form the basis for mineral and complex wines.

The eno directory lists one wine. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany and Netherlands.
