The Pagos de Matanegra, S.L. winery is located in Olmedillo de Roa in Castilla y León and belongs to the Ribera del Duero DO denomination. The estate manages twenty hectares of vineyards in a continental climate at an altitude of approximately 950 meters on clay-limestone soils. The vineyards are planted entirely with Tempranillo, featuring an average vine age of sixty years with one-third of the parcels exceeding one hundred years of age. Farming is conducted following biodynamic and natural principles with a sustainable approach, careful vineyard management according to lunar cycles, and aging in French oak barrels. The small winery produces limited quantities of distinctive, nature-focused wines centered on origin and terroir.
