About the estate
The Ornina estate in Castel Focognano, Tuscany, is a young, natural and biodynamic winery. The project was founded in 2008 when Marco, while still a student at the faculty of agriculture in Florence, took over the two hectares of vineyards planted by his father Orazio in 1973 within the historic family property. The production follows the rhythms of nature to harvest the best fruit of the vine each September. The current portfolio comprises nine labels, with the selection continually expanding through experimental projects.
