The Ökoweingut Simon Michael estate is a small family-run winery located in Osann-Monzel near the Moselle, now managed in the third generation. The winery has operated according to organic principles since 2012, consistently avoiding chemical-synthetic sprays and artificial fertilizers. Cultivation is carried out in harmony with nature with measures to increase biodiversity and maintain soil fertility. During winemaking, animal fining agents are completely avoided, making the wines vegan. Furthermore, the estate focuses on comprehensive sustainability through its own electricity generation, the use of rainwater, and climate-neutral shipping.
