Malteser Ritterorden

About the estate

The Malteser Ritterorden winery is located at the oldest property of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta at the Mailberg commandery in the Weinviertel region. Since 1969, the estate has been managed by the Lenz Moser winery. Covering a vineyard area of 50 hectares, the vineyards comprise a total of twelve single sites such as Antlasberg, Blickenberg, and Hochlüssen. The vines are trained according to the Lenz Moser high-culture system. This historic location looks back on a centuries-old tradition of viticulture.
