About the estate
The Wolfgang Maitz winery in Ehrenhausen on the wine route looks back on a history that began in 1957 with the acquisition of the Rebenburg by Josef and Maria Maitz. With an initial vineyard area of five hectares, the foundation was laid for a flourishing wine estate that is now managed in the third generation. The traditional family estate offers regional, village, and single-vineyard wines from the South Styria DAC origin. In addition to winemaking, the estate also runs its own tavern and a wine hotel, combining culinary enjoyment and hospitality.
The estate sells to horeca, retail and distributors. Export markets include Switzerland, Germany and Netherlands.
