About the estate

The Hirschmugl - Domäne am Seggauberg estate is located on the Seggauberg near Leibnitz in South Styria and developed out of a former fruit farm. Around two decades ago, Astrid and Toni Hirschmugl laid the foundation for the winery, which today practices organic viticulture. The grapes from the South Styrian single-vineyard sites are harvested entirely by hand and processed with a strong focus on origin and character. Working with care in the cellar allows authentic organic wines and sparkling wines to develop. In addition to winemaking, the estate also produces specialties such as organic honey, gin, and vermouth, and offers event spaces as well as accommodation.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The estate sells to retail.
