About the estate
The Maison Gilliard estate was founded in 1885 by Edmond Gilliard in Sion and is one of the oldest wineries in Valais. Today, the estate cultivates 75 hectares of vineyards distributed between Venthône and Martigny. The historical holdings include renowned sites such as Clos du Mont and Clos du Brûle-Fer. The portfolio comprises numerous grape varieties and wines that are entirely vinified and bottled at the property. Iconic brands of the house include Dôle des Monts and Fendant Les Murettes.
