About the estate
The M. Fleischmann estate has been managed by the Fleischmann family in Klein Reinprechtsdorf since 1721 and is now in its fifth generation. The vineyards are located in the municipal areas of Röschitz and Stoitzendorf in the wine region around Mount Manhartsberg and the Retz vineyards. Cultivated grape varieties include Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Muscat, and Zweigelt. The soils of the region consist of loess, loam, and weathered primary rock. Young winemaker Manuel Fleischmann focuses on sustainable vineyard management by mostly avoiding insecticides and pesticides and applying self-produced compost.
