About the estate
The Lustig estate was founded in 1890 and is located in Lower Austria, south of Retz. On vineyard sites such as Sonnleite, Wieser, and Thalbach, which are predominantly characterized by loess soils, grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, and Zweigelt are cultivated. The winery operates organically and focuses on preserving the natural quality of the grapes in the cellar. The wines are marketed internationally within Europe and overseas. Wines such as Weinviertel DAC reflect this natural and sustainable approach.
The eno directory lists 17 wines, mostly from Zweigelt and Grüner Veltliner. The estate sells to retail.
