About the estate

The Louis Freyburger, Vins d'Alsace estate is a traditional family winery located in Ammerschwihr, managed across four generations. Spanning 8.5 hectares of vineyards situated between plains and slopes, Nathalie and Christophe farm their parcels organically, with full certification achieved in 2019. The production includes wines from the AOC Alsace, AOC Alsace Grand Cru, AOC Crémant d'Alsace, and Grand Cru Kaefferkopf appellations. Viticulture relies on manual harvesting, mechanical and manual soil maintenance, and natural treatments. In the cellar, the estate combines modern facilities with historic oak foudres.
