About the estate
The Lehengut estate at the foot of the Vinschgau sun mountain is managed by Claudia and Thomas Plack and traces its history back to 1627. The winery comprises three hectares of vineyards in steep locations such as Krebsenrauth, Ansitz Kasten and Tonnerberg, which have been farmed organically since 2006. The wines are produced under the conditions of sun-exposed, dry slopes with cool nights on weathered primary rock and moraine soils. The portfolio includes Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Noir. The production, brought to life in 2015, reflects the character of the region.
