About the estate

The Lechner estate is located in the old town center of Spitz in the Wachau region, where wine has been cultivated and pressed on the farm for more than 400 years. The grapes for the wines originate from the vineyards Axpoint and Steinporz with Grüner Veltliner, Singerriedl and Pluris with Riesling and Muskateller, as well as Auleithen with Neuburger. In the historic 400-year-old vaulted cellar, these grapes are traditionally processed into the well-known quality categories Steinfeder, Federspiel, and Smaragd. As a proud member of Vinea Wachau, the winery is committed to natural wine production and guaranteed origin within the Wachau World Heritage region.
