About the estate
The La Piemontina winery was founded in 2010 in the Piedmont region and currently manages about 21 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 280 meters above sea level. The vineyard soils consist of morainic-alluvial deposits from ancient alpine glaciers located in Località Valle Mareschi. The estate focuses on cultivating native grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and a local white grape. Vinification takes place in a modern cellar utilizing stainless steel tanks as well as various oak containers including barriques, tonneaux, and large casks. The portfolio features wines carrying DOC and DOCG designations from Northern Piedmont.
The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Vespolina.
