About the estate
The La Clef du Récit estate is located in the hamlet of Récy within the Centre-Loire wine region and has been managed by Anthony Girard since 2012. Following extensive experience in the world of viticulture, he took over the winegrowing property to produce distinctive regional wines. The vineyards extend across notable appellations including Menetou-Salon, Quincy, and Sancerre, featuring soils composed of Kimmeridgian marl, soft limestone, and flint. In the vineyard, rigorous and environmentally respectful practices are applied to harvest grapes at optimal maturity. In the cellar, modern winemaking equipment is utilized to conduct meticulous vinification in harmony with traditional methods.
