About the estate

The Weingut Leopold Krottendorfer estate is a family-run winery located in Röschitz in the Weinviertel region, not far from Retz. Situated at the foothills of the Manhartsberg, the estate cultivates vineyards on loess and primary rock soils in sites such as Mühlberg, Reipersberg, Galgenberg, and Königsberg. The core of the portfolio is Grüner Veltliner in various styles, complemented by grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Zweigelt. Sustainable vineyard management, hand harvesting, and gentle cellar processing combining modern technology with traditional methods form the foundation for the quality wines.
