About the estate
The Kovács pince winery is located in Tök in the heart of the Zsámbék Basin and draws on over two decades of history before launching a new brand identity under the name Cardium in 2019. Under the direction of winemaker Monostori Balázs, the estate produces light, aromatic, and reductive white and rosé wines, alongside red wines and sparkling wines introduced in the same year. The soils of the region feature limestone foundations formed from the fossilized remains of the ancient Pannonian Sea, which contribute freshness and an elegant acidity structure to the wines. In addition to winemaking, the property serves as a venue for various events and gatherings.
