About the estate
The Hungarian winery Koltai pincészet is located in Szőlősgyörök within the Balatonboglár wine region, six kilometres from Lake Balaton. Founder and winemaker Tamás Koltai has been involved in winemaking since 1983. The vineyards are situated in the areas belonging to Szőlősgyörök, Szőlőskislak and Lengyeltóti. The portfolio includes various grape varieties such as Olaszrizling, Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon, yielding white, red, rosé, sparkling and dessert wines. The estate is a certified stop on the South Balaton Wine Route.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Királyleányka.
