About the estate
Located in Haugsdorf in the Weinviertal region, the Kitla estate was founded in 1987 by Hans and Andrea and taken over by Florian in 2023. Today, the family-run winery cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards in an area characterized by calcium-rich loess and loamy subsoils. The soils and the local climate provide optimal conditions for growing grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Zweigelt, and Blauer Portugieser. The portfolio includes wines from the Weinviertel DAC and Weinviertel DAC Reserve appellations.
