About the estate
The Kartuli winery continues the winemaking tradition of the Chachiashvili family, whose viticultural roots trace back to Petre Chachiashvili. Starting in 2008, his grandsons reconstructed historical winemaking records and founded the Kartuli winery in 2011. The portfolio includes classic Georgian wines, traditional Qvevri wines, brandy, chacha, and liqueur wines produced from grape varieties such as Kindzmarauli, Saperavi, Tsolikauri, Tsitska, and Rkatsiteli. Production utilizes traditional clay vessels buried in the ground for both fermentation and aging. Today, the company exports its products to more than 34 countries worldwide.
