About the estate
The history of the ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ TINTO PESQUERA, S.L. winery began more than fifty years ago when Alejandro Fernández and Esperanza Rivera started crafting their first wines from estate grapes in a small sixteenth-century stone press in 1972. Located in Pesquera de Duero in Castilla y León, the estate encompasses 200 hectares of vineyards and operates within the Ribera del Duero DO denomination. Now guided by the third generation of granddaughters, the family-run business combines traditional craftsmanship with new technologies. The focus rests on producing expressive wines from the Tempranillo grape variety, which are exported to over seventy countries.
