About the estate
The Jean-Rene Germanier winery has been managed in Vétroz in Valais by four generations since its establishment in 1896. Covering 34 hectares of vineyards, the traditional family estate practices organic viticulture and holds a BIOSUISSE certification. The alpine terroir of the Swiss Rhône valley shapes the character of the wines produced under the AOC Valais and Vétroz Grand Cru denominations. Winemaking operations are overseen by enologist Richard Riand with a focus on respecting the specific qualities of the grape varieties and the terroir.
