About the estate
The Hummel Weinviertel estate cultivates around nine hectares of vineyards around Niederschleinz, where the vines thrive primarily on deep, humus-rich loess soils. The Pannonian climate promotes unique aroma deposits, especially in white wine. At the center of production is the flagship variety Grüner Veltliner, accounting for 70 percent of the cultivation area, supplemented by Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Muskateller, and Zweigelt. The family runs the business with long-standing experience, forward-looking action, and personal dedication. The portfolio includes wines with the Weinviertel DAC designation of origin.
