The Herrero Bodega winery is located in Nieva within the Rueda DO denomination in Castilla y León. Founded by José Mª Herrero and Janine Vedel, the family-run estate is currently managed in the next generation by their three sons. The vineyards are situated in the easternmost part of the denomination at a higher average altitude, featuring gravelly soils and a continental climate. Cultivation focuses on the indigenous Verdejo grape variety, producing distinctive white wines with balanced acidity and prominent fruit expression.
