The Hermanos Hernaiz - Finca La Emperatriz estate is located in Baños de Rioja within the Rioja DOCa denomination and traces its origins back to a historic property named after the last Empress of France. In 1996, the Hernáiz family acquired the estate with the clear purpose of reviving the traditional quality and elegance of this unique vineyard. The production relies exclusively on family-owned vineyards, applying regenerative and sustainable farming practices for over fifteen years without the use of chemical insecticides or herbicides. Eduardo and Víctor Hernáiz lead the project focusing on low yields, limited production, and careful manual work.
