About the estate
The Hâld Moed Cidery was founded in 2015 by Yde Yntema and his wife Anne in Hemelum. They cultivate an orchard covering 1.5 hectares with 650 apple trees, half of which consist of dedicated cider apple varieties. Following the initial planting in November 2015, the first harvest was pressed in 2019. Since 2022, the pressing process has been carried out on-site using their own equipment. The portfolio focuses on artisanal cider produced from true cider apples.
