About the estate
The Hallgartener Weinkeller eG estate is located in Hallgarten in the Rheingau region and traces its origins back to three winegrowers' cooperatives founded between 1898 and 1902. Today, the business is the largest local winegrowers' cooperative in the Rheingau. Around 20 wine-growing businesses jointly cultivate a vineyard area of approximately 30 hectares, which includes all of Hallgarten's vineyard sites. Close cooperation with the members forms the foundation for the quality of the wines. In the cellar, gentle vinification is carried out using modern technology such as temperature-controlled fermentation.
