About the estate

For generations, the Haiderer family has managed the wine estate in the Dunkelsteinerwald in Mautern an der Donau in the Wachau region. First documented in 1813, the property has evolved from a small mixed farm into a specialized winegrowing business. Today, the Haiderer winery cultivates ten hectares of vineyards, including sites such as Donauleiten, Süßenberg, and Pühlnhof. Combining traditional values with innovative ideas, the estate produces a diverse range of wines available through its own vinothek, online shop, and traditional tavern.
