About the estate

The Weinhaus Haiden estate in Oggau am Neusiedler See looks back on a company history that began in 1995 with the takeover of the parental business. Hannes Haiden vinifies grapes from single-vineyard sites in Eisenstadt and the surrounding area as well as from his own vineyards in Oggau, St. Georgen, Trausdorf, St. Margarethen, and Rust. Through continuous expansion, the cultivated vineyard area grew to over twenty hectares, allowing the wine to be produced exclusively from estate-grown grapes. Processing takes place in a winery located in Oggau inside a cellar originally built in the 1960s. In winemaking, the winery combines traditional methods with modern techniques and relies on sustainable principles.

The estate sells to distributors and horeca. Export markets include Switzerland and Germany.
