About the estate

The Greil winery looks back on a long family tradition in the western Weinviertel that began in the year 1624 and is currently led in the twelfth generation. Across approximately six hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates its vines with a focus on sustainability, avoiding insecticides and herbicides while maintaining year-round cover crops. Due to the cool influence of the neighboring Waldviertel, the wines are characterized by lightness and a fresh variety of aromas. The vinification process follows high quality standards to produce wines that are also suitable for a vegan diet.
