About the estate

The Grál Borpince estate was founded in 2008 by Mucsi Zalán in Gyönk within the Tolna wine region. Across two and a half hectares of vineyards in the Pelzberg site, the winemaker practices organic agriculture without chemical agents or herbicides. The core of the production is Kékfrankos, alongside Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Kadarka, and Rajnai Rizling. The wines undergo spontaneous fermentation using estate-selected yeasts, receive minimal sulfur, and red wines are bottled unfiltered. The soils consist mainly of clay and loess interspersed with limestone patches.

The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Kékfrankos and Gamza. The estate sells to horeca.
